Haus D in Gengenbach

Good protective measures, only 5 people admission at Dreher and 5 at Winterhalter

We were just by Haus D for lunch. You can eat outside but you have to queue to give your order and wait for your food. The lady there is VERY impolite, no hello, no smile & the way she talks very agressive. It’s 12 o’clock & food is not ready... waiting time 8 minutes (😤) we gave our order....2 portions of same dish. After 10 minutes only 1 portion available & again the same unfriendly lady telling us they have only one (no sorry & again this agressive way to talk). We decide to share. The food was not properly cooked.... very disappointing. We will never go again to this place & we will not recommend it. How is it possible to have in Covid-19 time such an attitude. We recommend the management to check his staff & teach them how to approach customers. This place should get 3 Stars MINUS

In itself a beautiful location with a great breakfast. However, you have to wait a very long time to be served. But we have the feeling that this is only ours. Today we waited 20 minutes before we could order breakfast. Old dishes are removed rather than asked what you want. 2 minutes later we would have left. Next time we will have breakfast somewhere else ... 😞

Half-empty coffee house, the older blonde waitress doesn't serve us. We leave after more than 20 minutes. Unfortunately the worst kind of service.

Cozy atmosphere, even when it rains. Friendly service and good breakfast offer. Also nice for a glass of sparkling wine. Great view and good location to take a break after shopping. Lunch table with service with a small surcharge above or to be picked up at the counter below.

A great modern café with a butcher and bakery. Competent and very friendly staff. Very tasty and varied breakfast. The salads are legendary, especially the club salad!

Good food and drinks

I originally rated the house D with 4 stars .... BUT !!!!!!!!! ☡☡☡☡ I came in at 4:45 p.m. for a salad. The waitress came about 7 minutes later and said that it would no longer be possible to eat because the kitchen was closed !! ---- Time of order 4 p.m. 52 😀 ---- The kitchen is closed at 5 p.m. I said "yes. All of 5 pm, we didn't!" The service staff replied: Quote "They're tearing my head off"! 😣🤔 So I and my wife went from house D to another restaurant.

Very good breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere. A rich selection is offered here at a good level. Service still has some room for improvement; the forces were polite but quite inattentive. Lovers of an extensive breakfast will still get their money's worth in house "D". Repeatable.

Nice place with some views upstairs. Nothing spectacular but the food and coffee were good. Good parking and easy to get to.

Absolute recommendation for a very good Sunday morning breakfast! Large terrace with a wonderful view. Very good service, parking space in front of the door, excellent quality and fresh goods. Price-performance ratio: Okay again at any time.
